The edition number, title, signature and date are written under the image in pencil.

This complex reduction linocut print has been created using 12 colours over 8 layers of printing. It shows a shady boardwalk through a forest with glimpses of a river in the distance.

The reduction method of printmaking uses just one plate, which is further cut away after each layer is printed, so there is no going back and the print cannot be repeated. There are just 10 prints in this edition. As each layer is handprinted there are minor variations between each print and no two are absolutely identical. There may be small differences from the images shown.

This print is supplied UNFRAMED AND UNMOUNTED.

The scene depicted is in the Kejimkujik National Park in Nova Scotia which I visited in 2023.
